Sarah Kidd

Sarah Kathryn “Kathy” Kidd, 59, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at her home in Titusville. Kathy was born in Piedmont, Alabama to GW and Sarah Purdy and came to Titusville in 1980 to work at the Kennedy Space Center. Kathy was a software engineer and worked for Grumman, Lockheed, and the United Space Alliance. After retiring, she worked at Lowes in the Home and Garden Department. She had a passion for gardening and had the greenest thumb. She also enjoyed crafting of all kind. 

Kathy is survived by her husband Wayne Kidd of Titusville; her children Erica Nicole “Nikki” Josey and her husband Robert of Raleigh, NC, and Alec Jacobs and his wife Jillian of Orlando; her step children Tammy Melissa, and William Kidd; her grandchildren Wyatt and Makenzie; her mother Sarah Purdy; and brothers Jeff and Rick Purdy and their families.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, January 24 at Indian River United Methodist Church in the main Sanctuary. (1355 Cheney Hwy, Titusville, FL 32780) In honor of Kathy, please wear bright colors.
