William “Bill” Karl Deans, 79, of Mims, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Bill was born on July 15, 1939 in the town of Barberton, Ohio, to his late parents Willard and Betty Deans. He spent most of his working life as a meat cutter in the food service industry. He worked many years for the A & P grocery store chain. Outside of work, Bill enjoyed being a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose at Lodge #1962 in Mims, and also of the American Legion Post #1 in Titusville. He loved to fish, play games in which wagers were made, and spend time with his family whenever he could. Bill never met a stranger… he made people happy with his smile and his sense of humor.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Patty Westover, of Zebulon, North Carolina; his daughter Amy McDonald (Keith) of Port St. John; his son Pat Deans (Michelle) of Orlando; his brother Bob Deans (Lucille) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his brother John Deans (Wanda) of Kissimmee; his sister Lavonne Way (Michael) of Columbia, Missouri; his grandsons Garett Westover of Zebulon, North Carolina, and Ryan, Jordan, and Tyler McDonald of Florida; many nieces and nephews; and his loving companion, Trudy Antanavich. Friends and family of Bill are welcome to the Moose Lodge #1962 in Mims for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 18 at 2:30 pm. Condolences can be sent to www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
