Obituary

On May 22, 2020. Bill “Bucket” Loeffler, Loving husband and father of four, passed away at the age of 63.

Bill was born on February 21, 1957 to William T and Juanita Loeffler in Jacksonville, Florida.  Bill was raised in Lake City.  He proudly served four and a half years in The United States Navy, Seabees division.  He worked at Kennedy Space Center until 2010 when he was forced to medically retire.  He married Janet (Oxendine) Loeffler on July 24th 1981.  Together they have four children and eight grandchildren. 

Bill served 16 years as both a coach and manager at Mims little League.  He has worked the last seven years delivering weekend meals for children to local elementary schools.

Bill is survived by his wife Janet of Mims; His four children, Ashley (Charles) Flake of Mims, William (Keri) Loeffler of Clarksville, TN., Cody (Megan) Loeffler of Titusville and Seth (Rebekah) Loeffler of Titusville; His grandchildren: Addison, Ethan, Nolan, Asher, Madelyn, Micah, Jonah, and Joanna; His step mother, Julia Loeffler of Mims; Brothers: Keith Loeffler and Scott Riner; Sisters: Karen Aultman, Angela Perry and Beth Ewing.  Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Altman; his father, William T. Loeffler; and His brother, Thomas Loeffler. 

We, as his family, know what it is like to be loved well.  Bill loved us and was always willing to sacrifice for us.  We will carry him always in our hearts.  We invite all to come celebrate his life.  Services will be held on June 4 at 10 am at Crosswalk Community Church, 77 N. Carpenter Road, Titusville. A reception will follow.  Burial  will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida on Monday, June 15th at 12:30 pm.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Children’s Hunger Project through First Baptist Church of Mims, we, his family will be so honored to remember him this way.  Please leave your condolences for the family at wwww.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
