Walter Joseph Hart

Walter Joseph Hart passed away on November 7, 2019 at Hospice of St. Francis at the age of 92.  He was born on October 29, 1927 to the late James Joseph and Mary Julia Hart in Melrose, Massachusetts.  Walter was in the US Navy during the Korean War as a submariner on the USS Sennet #408.  In 1956, Walter came to Brevard County with his first wife and three children.  On June 7, 1980, he married Ingrid Hollmann Hart and spent 31 years happily married.  He was an honorary member of the Masonic lodge #384 of Mims.  Walter enjoyed spending his free time around his family. 

Walter is survived by his sons, David Hart (Phyllis) and Charles Hollmann (Kim); Daughters, Susan Abel and Linda Herring; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Ingrid Hart; daughters, Dale Pittman and Nancy Carrizales; Son, Eric Hollmann; grandson, Johnnie Gosnell.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis located at 1250-B Grumman Place, Florida 32780. There will be a graveside service set in the near future at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Please leave your condolences at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
