Steven L Jernigan

I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Steven L. Jernigan. He passed away peacefully at home at the age of 64, surrounded by friends and family. Joining the United States Air Force right out of high school he served honorably as a jet engine mechanic. Following his military service,  he worked in the boating industry. My dad loved every minute of his 40 year career at Boston Whaler and was always cracking a joke. He loved those around him with all of his heart and was always willing to lend a hand. He leaves behind his wife, Tamara Jernigan, father, Kenneth Jernigan, mother, Muriel Jernigan, brother, Doug Jernigan, sister, Janice Fielder, Son, Corey Jernigan, daughter in law, Nicole Jones, daughter, Stephanie Jernigan, son in law, Colin Sanner, grand daughter Mana Jernigan, Milo Karaguovanis, step daughter, Stephanie Couture, grandson, Sean Couture, and the mother of his children, Geila Castle.  Preceded in death by his brother, Allen Jernigan.  Funeral services will held at North Brevard Funeral home at 1230 on 3 November.  A burial and military honors service will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
