Robert E Koch (Bob) born July 11, 1928 in Lambertville, Michigan to Helen (Bassett) and Werner Koch. He shared his childhood mischief with his younger brother, Donald (deceased). In his early years, he attended school in Michigan, met his bride, Frances, and had five children. After working many years for other companies, with his name on many patents, he started his own business in Michigan; Tru- Mension Manufacturing, Inc. The family relocated to Titusville, Florida and after a short “retirement”, he reopened his business in Florida. He had a love for the outdoors including hunting, boating and fishing. Always the adventurer, he and Fran, took to the seas and sailed to the Bahamas, hunted in Michigan, Canada, Wyoming and later in Georgia. A favorite weekend get-away was spending time with family on the St Johns River in Welaka. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Frances; children, Kathy Matura, Rich Koch, Barb Fisher, Walt Koch (deceased) and Linda Crawford; 9 grandchildren; Michelle Rimes, Julie Matura, Sean and Christine Koch, Brian, Eric and Corey Fisher, Nick and Steve Koch and 6 great-grandchildren; Taryn, Asher, Lilly, Blake, Kiley and Evey. The legacy of Bob’s great sense of humor, adventurous spirit, passion for the outdoors and zest for life will live on through them.
