Richard Dick Sweatt

Richard “Dick” Van Sweatt, 90, of Titusville, passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2023.  He was born in Roswell, New Mexico to the late C. Van and Violet Sweatt.  Mr. Sweatt served in the United States Air Force.  He was a retired electrical engineer for general Dynamic and Lockheed Martin.   Mr. Sweatt was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Titusville.   Mr. Sweatt enjoyed square dancing and traveling in the motorhome across the county with his wife Shirley.  He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A., Master Mason and member of the Scottish Rite and York Rite.  He attended Indian River Masonic Lodge #90 in Titusville.

Mr. Sweatt was preceded in death his parents, lovey wife Shirley, brother William Sweatt and step son Michael Henley.  He is survived by his son Samuel Sweatt (Jenny), sister Marlene Vestal (Ray) grandson Zachary Sweatt, granddaughter Rachel Sweatt.
