Peggy L. Dixon, 83 years old, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 9, 1936 to the late Kenneth and Evelyn Cooper in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was accepted to Vanderbilt College for nursing, but was homesick and went back to Knoxville and started a family. In 1972, they moved to Titusville, Florida.
She is survived by her children, Michael Dixon, Sandra Gomme, Tony Dixon and Linda Pelechatz; In laws, Anne Dixon, Renee Dixon, Steven Pelechatz, and Mary (Kiki Kaka Kuku Mer) Kenlon; Grandchildren, Christee White, Lauren (Daniel) Moore, Tami Coleman, Alan (Crystal) Pelechatz and Zoie Dixon; Six great grandchildren; Sisters, Patsy Judkins, Jinky Langly Sandy Phillips and JoAnne Webb; Brother, Kenny Cooper and fur grandbabies Seymour and Macee.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Royal Dixon and two of her children, Debra Shipe and Scottie Dixon.
Peggy was a CNA in her early years and later co-owned with her husband, Royal Dixon, Royal Bounty Fish and Chips and Royal Cab Company. She was an accomplished seamstress but most of all she loved being a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved reading, playing board games, puzzle books, watching game shows (especially Steve Harvey), and she was the queen of garage sales and thrift store shopping.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6-8 at North Brevard funeral Home and a graveside service will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 1 P.M. Condolences can be shared at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
