Patricia Compton

Patricia (Patti) Carole Oliphant Compton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on August 16, 2019 at the age of 67. Patti was born on February 5, 1952 to the late Charles and Sophie Oliphant in Colonia, New Jersey. She has been a resident in Melbourne for many years. 

Patti was a medical coder in the healthcare industry.  She was a dedicated wife and mother who adored her son and grandchildren.  She enjoyed being around her family.  Patti always had a great love of animals and this led her to become a veterinary assistant after graduating from Seminole High School. This love resulted in Patti rescuing many dogs with sad puppy eyes over the years !

Patti is survived by her husband, Craig Compton and son, Brian Maxfield (Kristine). Patti was the big sister to Charles Oliphant (Laura), Thomas Oliphant (Sharon), Robert Oliphant (Anna), Karen Oliphant Burgos (Angelo), and David Oliphant (Ashley); Her grandchildren are John Maxfield, Paige Compton, Carmen Compton, Zoey Compton

She is predeceased by her late husband, John Teal Maxfield.
