Maria Antonia Garcia born Maria Antonia Gaudier.
Born and raised in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Maria was the oldest of five children. Her late brother Francisco and her three surviving siblings Isabel, Carmina, and Miguel.
In 1957 Maria married Julio Garcia and they were happy together until his passing in 1996.
Maria studied nursing at Florida State College for Women, and years later furthered her education at Saint Leo University. She was a practicing nurse until she retired at 87 years old.
She joins her late step-son Jay Garcia.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Lucia.
Maria is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Her loving memory will be with us forever! Rest in Peace. Que en Paz Descanse.
