Lois Lemmon Brown

Lois Lemmon Brown, 82, passed away on Monday, December 17th, 2018 surrounded by her family. Lois was born in Clinton, Iowa and then moved to Chicago. She and Herb moved to Titusville from Clearwater in 1965.

Lois was a Registered Nurse her entire career. After graduating from Columbia University’s Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, she remained in NYC working and teaching at Presbyterian Hospital. She then moved to Columbus, Ohio where she met Herb on a blind date. Soon after, they married in Shelbyville, Indiana.

After moving to Titusville, Lois was actively involved in many different organizations: PEO, garden club, classroom mom, Astronaut High School booster club, and many others. She will be remembered as Mrs. Brown, the nurse, for Drs. Barimo, Erbs, and Jamir. She knew just about everyone in town.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years, Herb, her sons, Jeff (Debbie) and Danny (JoAnna), her grandchildren, Kalyn, Justin, Olivia, Brighton and her great-granddaughter, Willow.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Titusville, at 11:00 am.  A reception will follow.  In memory of Lois, donations can be made to the Mid Florida Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org/Chapters/FLC.
