Obituary

LaTisha Denise Edwards was born on January 31, 1968. Because of her loving heart for people, she created the Over the Rainbow Foundation which provided shelter for victims of domestic violence, sexual and mental abuse, elderly abuse and human trafficking. Additionally, she volunteered at various nonprofit organizations and became a member of the (East Coast) Space Coast Human Trafficking Task Force. Furthermore, Tisha, the gorgeous woman that she was, modeled for three years and inspired others to showcase their beauty through COMPS, a modeling agency she established. She is survived by her son, Holden Terry, her mother, Lillie P. Edwards, her two sisters, Gwendolyn Richardson and Anita "Lady" Hall, her two brothers, Nathan J. Adderly IV and Thomas Edwards Jr., and many other family members and friends. Lastly, she is reunited with her father, Thomas Edwards. We wear a purple ribbon on this day to honor the person and values that Tisha Edwards once held. Purple represents ambition and devotion. Tisha made it her life's mission to help and care for those who have been maltreated and discarded. Likewise, purple symbolizes chronic pain and neuropathy awareness. Tisha told her story of how she handled these ailments to encourage others to speak out and be voice to those who do not have one. Please take a purple ribbon to pay respect to the industrious and philanthropic life of LaTisha Edwards.

Thank you.
