John J Bercaw Jr

John J Bercaw Jr, 72, passed away on April 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on May 30, 1951 to the late Betty and John Bercaw SR, in Phillipsburg, NJ.

John J Bercaw Jr is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Diana Bercaw; his son John J. Bercaw III (Gianna Bercaw) and Daughter Stacy Perkins, (Michael Perkins) Grandsons; Michael Perkins Jr, Sean Perkins, John J Bercaw IV and Jonah Stevanus; and Cousin George Deemer.

Jack worked as a Field Engineer at the Space Center for a little over 30 years and has been enjoying retirement since. He was known by most by “Big Jack, The Big Teddy Bear.”  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Over the last 72 years he has had many friends that have become part of the family. John enjoyed riding his ATV, shooting, coaching football, building computers, cooking, and most of all spending quality time with his wife. There will a celebration of life on May 4, 2024 held at Kelly Park ,West Pavilion (2455 N Banna River Drive  Merritt Island, 32953) from 12:00 PM until the park closes.
