Hildegard Erna Werner

Hildegard Erna Werner, 100, died Monday April 12, 2021 at her home in Titusville. Hildegard was born in Tempelburg, Germany on August 12, 1920 to Josef and Ernea Marth. She came to Titusville from Kappelrodeck, Germany 15 years ago to be near her family.

Hildegard served during WWII as a nurse for the Red Cross. After the war she was a homemaker who loved to crotchet, bake and garden.

Hildegard was preceded by her husband Johan “Hans” August Werner and her grandson Thomas Rudolph. She is survived by her daughter Anita Rudolph of Titusville, her son Ulrich Miller and his wife Nicole of Germany, her grandchildren Michele Ballington of Titusville, Natahlie Miller of Germany and Max Miller of Germany, Great grandchildren Paul and Brianna Ballington and Danyel Lengefeld.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11am April 24, 2021 at The Grove Church in Titusville.
