George E. Studstill, (1938 – 2021)
George E. Studstill, 82, of Titusville, FL was surrounded by loving family as he went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2021. He was born in Lovett, FL, the son of Lester Donovan and Laura Shaffer Studstill on November 17, 1938. George retired from Boeing Aerospace as a Computer Operations Manager. He and his loving wife were original and founding members of the Way of Life Baptist Church in Titusville. George had many passions in his life, but some his greatest joys came from flying small aircraft, scuba diving, traveling, talking on his CB radio, coaching little league baseball, and babies. There wasn’t a baby born in the family, or extended family, who didn’t get the seal of true love from George. So much so, he was awarded for his love of children by his church on a past Mother’s Day as the “Mother of the Year”! Even the ladies of the church turned to George when their babies needed to be soothed. George will be deeply missed by his daughters, Kathy Anderson (Brian) of Fredericksburg, VA, Donna Spurlock (Brent) of Titusville, FL, and son Donovan Studstill of Titusville, FL. His grandchildren, Jimmie Anderson of Fredericksburg, VA, and Mason Studstill (Farley) of Ft. Myers, FL; and his great grandson Noah Anderson of Fredericksburg, VA. His brother Tom Studstill (Sandy) of Titusville, FL along with numerous other nieces and nephews located throughout the United States. George is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, DeLora Studstill; his parents Lester Donovan and Laura Shaffer Studstill, sisters Macy L. (Peggy) Williford, Bonnie R. Wynn, brother LD Studstill. We are all looking forward to a glad reunion day with him in the presence of our Lord Jesus. A visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Way of Life Baptist Church located at 1571 N. Singleton Avenue, Titusville, FL 32780, beginning with visitation at 2-3:00 pm, funeral services 3-4:00 pm with a graveside service immediately following at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens cemetery. Way of Life Baptisst Church will be providing a meal immediately following the graveside service.
