Dorothy D Thomas

Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Donald C. Thomas (Dolores Thomas) of Durango, CO and David G. Thomas (Cheryl Thomas) of Titusville, FL; five grandchildren: Ryan & Michael and Erica, Jennifer & Lauren; and four great grandchildren: Matthew & Caitlin and Emma & Aubrey. She was pre-deceased by her parents Collins & Lillian Davis and two siblings, Mildred Helyer & Donald Davis. Dorothy dedicated her life to the importance of children and education and received her PHD from the University of Maine in 1979. She was a special education teacher until her retirement from Jackson Middle School and a volunteer at JMS, IRCU Methodist church, Titusville Public Library and Parrish Fitness Center for many years after. Dorothy will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.  Per Dorothy’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of St. Francis in Titusville, FL. The family would like to thank the employees of Addington Place and the caregivers of Dr. Tronetti and Hospice of St. Francis for their exceptional love, care & respect.
