Donald Wendell Hedman

Donald Wendell Hedman, 72, died Monday November 25, 2019 at the Edward M. Poe Hospice Care Center in Titusville. Don was born in Boston, Massachusetts and came to Titusville in 1987 with Lockheed from Lompoc, California. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked at the Space Center for Lockheed, Lockheed Martin and United Space Alliance from 1984 to 2011. He then worked for BCS Cryogenics. Don was a Media Specialist, Sound Engineer and active member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville. He also loved kayaking, biking and hiking. His greatest passion was his children and grandkids.

Don is survived by his wife of 49 years Evelyn "Evie", his sons Aaron Hedman and his wife Elaine of Titusville, Adam and his wife Lori of Fayetteville, AR, his daughter Wendee Ricker of Lexington, SC, his “dutch son” Mark Zeller of Ft. Lauderdale, grandchildren Payton, Seth, Parker, Sawyer, James, Haley, Eric, Katie Grace, Easten and Elle, and his brother David Hedman of Lompoc, CA.

Don’s life will be celebrated at 4pm Friday December 6, 2019 at Park Avenue Baptist Church.
