Obituary

Danielle Ethel (Yankovich) Klotzbach, 44, passed away after a long battle with cancer on April 23, 2019 at her home in Cocoa.  Danielle was born on September 20, 1974 in Mount Prospect, IL to Daniel and Jean Yankovich and spent most of her childhood in Melbourne, FL.  She met her husband Jonathan Klotzbach in West Palm Beach, FL and fell in love immediately, and they were married 7 months later.  She lived in Middleboro, MA for the first few years of their marriage before settling back into her beloved Brevard County.

Danielle’s primary passion was to live a life which brought glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Everyone who came into contact with her saw Him shining through her.  She was always giving to others, and she always brought Jesus into every conversation that she had and demonstrated His love, even while going through cancer treatments.  People were drawn to her wherever she went.  She actively served the ladies in her church family at Crosswalk Community Church, encouraging them through her wisdom and faith and deeply loved by so many.  She was a loving, gentle, and patient wife who was a constant encourager of her husband and was a true embodiment of the Proverbs 31 woman.  She was a devoted mother to their four children, who she homeschooled and gave sacrificially every chance that she had.  She had a strong passion for science which was on display both at home and in her science classes at the NBHSA co-op.  So many of her students (who called her Mrs. K.) attribute their passion for science to her classes, and she will be greatly missed there.  Her favorite activities were reading the Bible, reading books, and spending time with her family.  She loved spontaneous travel with her family and weekend getaways with her husband as well as getting dressed up for a date night.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years Jonathan and their four children Sarah, Joshua, Noah, and Lydia.  She is also survived by her loving parents Daniel and Jean Yankovich.  She is also survived by members of her husband’s family including his mother Barbara Klotzbach, his sister Laurie Curtis, his brother Phil Klotzbach (Kris Klotzbach), and his niece Julia Curtis.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at Crosswalk Community Church, 77 N. Carpenter Rd., Titusville on April 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Crosswalk Community Church’s Missions Fund to spread the good news of the Lord whom she loved around the world.  https://www.crosswalkcc.org/giving
