Barbara Nidy Carter

Barbara "Bobbi" Nidy Carter, 63, of Titusville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 16, 2018.  Bobbi was born in Charleston, West Virginia on August 2, 1955 to Harold and Blanche Nidy.  In the 1950's, she moved to Florida and lived in both Volusia and Brevard Counties.  

Bobbi loved the beach, and she owned timeshares in the city of Port Orange in Volusia County.  She enjoyed having friends and family stay with her in these timeshares, where they would relax by the pool and on the beach.  Bobbi was a member of Faith City Church in Titusville, and was considered by all who knew her as a caring, loving, and most generous lady.  She especially cherished the times when she was able to care for her precious niece, Layla.

Bobbi leaves behind her son, Aaron Edwards of Titusville; her brother, David Nidy, of Titusville; her sister Linda Bryarly of Mims; her brother Larry Elkins of North Carolina; her nephew J.R. Nidy (Angela) and his beloved daughter Layla of Titusville; her niece Chrissy Nidy of Titusville; her niece Amy Pesante (Jason); her niece Carol Furry (Paul); her niece Sherry Spaur; her niece Tina Nidy; her niece Shannon Elkins; her nephew Thomas Spaur; her nephew C.J. Nidy; her nephew Larry Elkins; her nephew Skipper Elkins; her nephew Jamie Robshaw; her nephew Joey Lee; and her best friends and sisters-in-Christ, Diana Canada, Debbie Sue, and Lisa Hobbs.

A graveside service for Bobbi will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 12:00 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the memorialization of Bobbi, which can be done by contacting North Brevard Funeral Home, or the family directly.  Condolences can be sent at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
