Managing Partner

Courtney started his career at North Brevard Funeral Home in 1997 and worked here for most of his adult life. He has worked as manager, funeral director, and pre-planning specialist at several Central Florida funeral homes and cemeteries. He returned to North Brevard Funeral Home and Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in May 2015 and is glad to be home.

Courtney received his Associate's Degree in Funeral Service in 1999 from St. Petersburg College and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida in 2011.

Courtney is a volunteer actor at Titusville Playhouse, Inc. He also serves on several committees at the Rotary Club of Titusville Noon Club. He is active with Cub Scout Pack #370.

David Ferguson

David Ferguson

Funeral Home Manager

David started his funeral career at North Brevard Funeral Home in 1992. In November 2013, David was chosen as Manager of the North Brevard Funeral Home team. He is a lifelong resident of Brevard County.

He is a graduate of Astronaut High School and St. Petersburg College, where he completed his Mortuary Science Degree in 1997.

David, his wife Ruth and daughter Shelby are members of the First Baptist Church of Aurantia. He is the Past President and a charter member of the Sunrise Kiwanis Club of Titusville, a 32nd Degree Master Mason, and a member of the Gateway Masonic Lodge #384 F.& A.M.

David currently serves as a Board Member for the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation and for Hospice of St. Francis.

Jimmie Prevatt

Licensed Funeral Director/Founder

Jimmie was born and raised in Palatka, Florida and has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1961. Mr. Prevatt started as the first manager, and then owner, of North Brevard Funeral Home
in 1973 and continues to serve families at the same facility nearly 40 years later.

Prior to North Brevard Funeral Home, Jimmie was the owner of the Prevatt Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida and also the assistant manager of the Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Orlando, Florida. After Lamar Hudgins joined Jimmie at North Brevard in 1979, they purchased the beautiful Oaklawn Memorial Park in Titusville, where both locations are still jointly operated to this day.

During his ongoing 53 years in the funeral profession, Jimmie has been an active member in many Titusville community organizations and in both the First Baptist Church of Titusville, and St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church.

For the past 32 years, Jimmie has been on the Board of Directors of The St. Francis Hospice.

Travel is one of his favorite activities. He and his wife Nancie have visited all 50 States, and are active with three RV Clubs.

Lamar entered funeral service in 1958 in Palatka, Florida and moved to enter into partnership with Jimmie Prevatt at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville in 1979.

Lamar has always been active in many Titusville civic affairs, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Titusville Chamber of Commerce and the Titusville Rotary Club. Lamar is also a longtime member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville.

Jay Feagan

Grounds Superintendent

Jay started a part-time maintenance position at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in 1993. In 1996, He became the Grounds Superintendent of Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, with over 28 developed acres of cemetery property under his direct responsibility. Because of his hard work and dedication, Jay was selected as the Oaklawn and North Brevard Funeral Home Employee of the Year for 2011.

Jay's dedication and hard work over the years since has enabled Oaklawn Memorial Gardens to become a beautiful and serene cemetery location, while at the same time providing all families service excellence with any type of burial, entombment or cremated remains interment desired.

Jay married his wife Karen in 1999, and they have two sons, Matthew and Michael.
Jay is a member of Gateway #384 F&A.M. in Mims, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, and a Shriner.

Eric Zink

Eric Zink

Licensed Funeral Director - Crematory and Care Center Manager

A 2019 New York City Marathon finisher who is originally from Ohio, Eric has been serving families in one form or another since 1993. He became the first teen volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance, Ohio to reach 1000 hours of volunteer service. He would then go on to serve our country in the U.S. Army for three years, spending time at Ft. Benning, Georgia, Kuwait and South Korea. Following being honorably discharged in 2000, Eric began working in funeral service and then went on to graduate from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2003  and has been with North Brevard Funeral Home since 2013.

Eric lives in Titusville with his wife Ashley; dog, Jaxson and bird, Crispy. He enjoys playing chess, riding motorcycles, going on road trips and training for half and full marathons

Angel Allgood

Licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer

Angel Allgood joined our staff in April of 2019.  She was born and raised in Loganville, Georgia.  She attained her mortuary degree from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Decatur, Georgia.  She became licensed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in the twenty hundred’s in Central Florida.  Angel has specialized in decedent care and was a Funeral home location manager for many years.

Angel is passionate about servitude and helping others.   Angel lives in Port Orange with her four children; Emily, Ansley, Ethan and Aiden and dog, Shadow.  She attends First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach.  In her free time she enjoys exploring the world around her, hosting family gatherings around the kitchen and writing over coffee.  


Clifford Williams III

Family Service Manager & Funeral Director

Husband, Father, Grandfather. Cliff started his career in funeral service in 1968 in Cocoa, Florida and has spent most of his 48 years of service right here as a Funeral Director and our Family Service Manager. He and his wife Linda like to spend time driving down back roads and making time for little weekend getaways. Family gatherings with his four daughters their husbands and 12 grandchildren are huge, loud and wonderful. He says he does most of the cooking but doesn’t do the dishes.

Cliff spends most of his working time telling the Pre-Planning Story. He says putting one's house in order is the kindest thing one can do. This is his purpose for what he does. This is how he thinks, “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.”

Veronica Pratt

Cemetery Administrative Assistant

Veronica Pratt is a lifelong resident of Brevard County, graduating from Titusville High School in 1989. She started her career with us as a part time assistant in May 2013. Within three months, she became the full-time Administrative Assistant for Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, leading her to be awarded employee of the year in 2014.

Veronica married her high school sweetheart Mike, and they have two children, Lukas and Skylar, and we can’t forget about her two Basset hounds, Maddy and Rosco.

Veronica has been a volunteer for Toys for Tots for three years. She is a member of Smile Angel Foundation and attends the Grove Church.

Jared joined the team at North Brevard Funeral Home in October 2015. You may see Jared assisting with a Celebration of Life on the weekends or serving families after hours during the week.

Mary Frodsham

Mary Frodsham

Office Assistant

Mary Frodsham joined the team as a part time assistant in January of 2019 and by April she was a full time administrative assistant. Mary graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2018 and moved to Florida immediately afterward. She enjoys traveling and has lived in five different states across the US. She currently resides in Titusville with her cat, Artemis.
