Managing Partner and Licensed Funeral Director
Courtney started his career at North Brevard Funeral Home in 1997 and worked here for most of his adult life. He has worked as manager, funeral director, and pre-planning specialist and loves serving in his home town.
Courtney graduated from Astronaut High School in 1996, received his Associate's Degree in Funeral Service in 1999 from St. Petersburg College and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida as an old man in 2011.
Courtney is and active member of the Rotary Club of Titusville, Noon Club, and an Assistant Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 370 at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church. He loves to be active so you may see him early at Workout Anytime, or out on his motorcycles.
Funeral Home Manager and Licensed Funeral Director
David started his funeral career at North Brevard Funeral Home in 1992. In November 2013, David was chosen as Manager of the North Brevard Funeral Home team. He is a lifelong resident of Brevard County.Licensed Funeral Director/Founder
Jimmie was born and raised in Palatka, Florida and has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1961. Mr. Prevatt started as the first manager, and then owner, of North Brevard Funeral HomeLicensed Funeral Director
Lamar entered funeral service in 1958 in Palatka, Florida and moved to enter into partnership with Jimmie Prevatt at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville in 1979.Licensed Funeral Director - Crematory and Care Center Manager
Eric has been serving families in one form or another since
1993. He became the first teen volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital,
Alliance, Ohio to reach 1000 hours of volunteer service. He would then go on to
serve our country in the U.S. Army for three years, spending time at Ft.
Benning, Georgia, Kuwait and South Korea. Following being honorably discharged
in 2000, Eric began working in funeral service and then went on to earn his
Bachelor’s degree at Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2004. He has
been with North Brevard Funeral Home since 2013.
Eric lives in Titusville with his wife Ashley and four
animals. He is a finisher of the 2019 & 2021 New York City Marathon, 2020
Goofy Challenge and 2022 Dopey Challenge. He also enjoys playing chess, riding
motorcycles and going on road trips.
Licensed Funeral Director
Daniel is originally from central PA and served in the
funeral industry for many years, starting off in a cemetery. Later attending the Pittsburgh Institute of
Mortuary Science and obtaining his associated degree in Mortuary Science. After graduating with his degree he worked
serving the community of Camp Hill, PA for a few years before deciding to
relocate to the Sunshine State of Florida.
Finally calling Titusville home. Daniel
joined the team at North Brevard Funeral Home in April 2023 and plans continue
to serve families and build relationships within the community. In his free time he enjoys taking time to
explore new areas, boating and fishing as well as trips to the beach.
Administrative Assistant
Shauna has been with North
Brevard Funeral Home since summer of 2017. She graduated from Titusville High
School and has been interested in serving in a funeral home since she was
young. Eager to get started, she met her husband Courtney in the lobby of North
Brevard Funeral Home in 1999.
Shauna
assists with phones, record keeping and manages our casket and urn inventory to
timely serve our family’s needs. In her free time she is a talented artist.
Office Coordinator, Printing and Video Specialist
Since 2020 Vivien has been
serving the community here at North Brevard Funeral Home as an administrative
assistant. She is often the first person you will speak to on the phone or
person you will see when you walk into the funeral home. From working on
death certificates, making memorial packages to working funerals and doing
removals, she has a servants heart and compassion to serve families during
their time of need.
Vivien is currently working
on her associate’s degree so she can continue her career here at the funeral
home and become a licensed funeral director. In her free time she enjoys taking
care of her plants, reading, spending time with her dogs and family and working
on race cars with her husband Mason.
Grounds Superintendent
Jay started a part-time maintenance position at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in 1993. In 1996, He became the Grounds Superintendent of Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, with over 28 developed acres of cemetery property under his direct responsibility. Because of his hard work and dedication, Jay was selected as the Oaklawn and North Brevard Funeral Home Employee of the Year for 2011.Cemetery Office Coordinator
Holly Marshall has performed Office Management and
Administrative Support in positions of increasing responsibility and in diverse
industries for over 25 years, some of which were focused on governmental
accounting for several Municipal Utility and Emergency Service and School
Districts. In each situation, she was able to use the skills she had and
build on them through on-hands experience and formal education, as she sought
to learn, meet and exceed the expectations of her superiors, coworkers, and
customers.
As a fairly recent transplant from California, Holly seeks
out opportunities to celebrate the Florida land and sea life with a wide range
of activities like paddle boarding, beach-going, skydiving and visits to local
zoos and parks. She loves animals and has a small menagerie at home
(three dogs, a parrot, and a bearded dragon) that are doted on as beloved
children.

Skip Watson is a 34 year veteran of the Armed Forces,
serving first in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and then retiring from the U.S.
Air Force. He and his wife of 52 years Erika have two children and two
grandchildren. He is also a talented trumpet player. Skip started his funeral
career with Adams-Perfect Funeral Home in Northfield, New Jersey and has been
serving families at North Brevard Funeral Home since 2004. Skip has a passion
for funeral service and hopes to serve your family in your time of need.

Heather is a graduate of THS and studied at Eastern Florida State and St. Petersburg College in Medical Laboratory and crime Scene Technology.
She enjoys gardening , mystery novels, movies, books and most of all her daughter Sawyer and her son Anakin.
Heather has worked at North Brevard Funeral Home since August of 2021 and is active in all parts of business from answering the phones, preparing families' loved one for viewing, and greeting guests at services.

Brittany was an early graduate of Licking High School in Missouri and started working with us at North Brevard Funeral Home in 2022. She is currently attending St. Petersburg College pursuing a degree in funeral services. When she is not serving families and working on school, Brittany enjoys painting, gardening, reading books and comics, working out, spending time with her Border Collie, Babygirl, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
