Willie F Jowers

Willie F. Jowers, 91, of Mims went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 16, 1926 to the late Charles and Nellie Jowers, Willie served our nation with great honor with the US Navy during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1951. Willie enjoyed fishing, shrimping and gardening. But most of all he enjoyed his time as a loving father, grandfather and friend to all he knew.

Other than his parents, wives Toni, Barbara and Estelle; sister Ruth Noble and brothers, Bruce, Horace and Charles preceded Willie in death. Willie will be greatly missed by his daughter Julie (Warren) Michael, Janet (Kenny) Judeson; sons Jonathan (Alexia) Jowers and William “Billy” (Laura Lee) Jowers; grandchildren Matthew Morrison, Monet Jowers, Morgan Jowers, Charles Jowers Jr, Alyssa Jowers and Pony Jowers and sister Catherine McSwain.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at North Brevard Funeral Home at 1PM with the Reverend Doctor Clarence Blalock officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
